Participating
schools earn $5.00 for every 60-gallon collection bag they fill with
plastic shopping
and grocery bags and bring to a local Wal-Mart store for recycling by
March 31, 2008.
Schools
are grouped into regions. The three schools in each region to bring in
the most
collection bags win additional rewards:
- 1st
Place: $3,000
- 2nd
Place: $2,000
- 3rd
Place: $1,000
